How to Quantify the Cost of Wasteful Work

If you want to talk to leaders, sometimes you have to talk the language of money. For instance, let's say you're a sales person who works in a c r m with 17 fields where only six are really functionally necessary for the work that you do. If you can try to make a light guess as to the amount of time per hour or per day, that you spend in those 11 other fields, your value is about 50 bucks an hour. Another place to begin a dialogue is through the doorway of humanity, instead of business.
