The amount of EGF in breast milk wanes over time when the mother stops or when she starts breastfeeding, it decreases over time. Cephalosporins are reduced by IgA levels in breast milk and they were able to establish that this doesn't affect the dames. And they also talk about how a specific type of E. coli protects from DSS colitis in a T-sum dependent manner. This works because it's priming these cells to induce regeneration early. It strengthens the junctions between cells in particular the goblet cells very early in life to prevent bacterial translocation.
