The Brazilian Steakhouse is an institution originating from the far southern tip of Brazil. The word Chirascaria refers more specifically to the kind of grill or grilling method used by such restaurants. A chirasco grill has a number of interesting design features that we'll get to, but for now, understand that it is simply a big grill.
