Is There a Sensory Overload Out Here Right Now?

When you're in tense situations and high sensory experiences, trying to calm yourself down can be really hard. The energy of excitement is nearly identical to the physiological experience of anxiety. So what does work is meeting that energy, telling myself that this is my body preparing for something that we're excited about. And instead of trying to calm down, I imagine the experience going amazingly well. It's like practicing a keto. It's blending with the energy of your body and directing it in a new direction.
