The Relationship Between the Body and the Soul

The worst thing that can happen to the soul in Plato's Timeo's is being reincarnated as a fish. It seems to me that mainly the fish doesn't have limbs. So what a body can express and what a soul can express to the body without having limbs is very little. In the Renaissance, one of the main organs that fascinates philosophers was the brain because at least since Galen, we know they literally have different brains.
