Some estimates suggest that nearly 15 per cent of India's wheat crop could have withered away because of the unbearable heat. The indian government has pledged to reduce emissions and become carbon neutral by 20 70. But we so intend to become a five trillion dollar economy before f i 29. So it seems the country will have to walk a tight rope, keep pace with growth while making sure we don't increase our carbon footprint by a huge margin. Will we be able to do this? I suppose we will just have to hope that we somehow find a way.
