Nell e iam: The courts of bovine justice were held in farming and ranch communities around the country. Officials at the us Department of agriculture wanted to encourage dairy farmers and cattle ranchers to purchase pure bread pedigreed bulls, with the goal of eventually eradicating all so called scrub bulls. So they came up with the idea of holding literal show trials in which a single scrub bull would be charged with grievous crimes. And over the course of the proceedings, the jury and the gathered audience would become convinced that their own scrub bulls had to go.
