The History of Offices
Office came about around the 15 hundreds with mercantilism and colonialism, the large scale trading of goods internationally. In the middle ages, if you didn't work on a farm or something, but if you were someone was a shopkeeper,. You did it out of your own home. And this was normal. So now you don't have manual labor, you've got bookkeepers and people doing clerical work to keep track of massive amounts of money and trade that hadn't really existed before that point. These are the routs of modern corporations. It's givin you fun ... but it's not given you autonomous adult rights like ionian for instance, or a full time contract
