I agree with your assessment of her writing. It's some of the most crystal clear, beautifully un-sedimental in a way that is so wonderful to read. I came to this book late in my reading because Dr. Heinz referred me to some of the mid-career work of Spark. And like even like, if you take many of the elements of Prime Miss Gene Brody and you make them even better and richer,. That's kind of what she grows into.
