In Zambia and Cambodia, there are fairly weak constraints on female mobility. So in Cambodia, when factories open up, women flock to the city to make money. And when they go to the city, they earn their own income and they live in these row rooms. It's about freedom and autonomy and liberation to express yourself. Without worrying, they'll be condemned and policed.
