Is It Really Badly Managed Politics?

I'm surprised they decided to go in so hard on this vote and say it's a three line whip. It feels like they are just all striding as boldly as you can into a trap that's been deliberately set by Labour. So my instinct is it's just, it's just terrible political judgment. I'd be interested to know some of you. My sense is that partly they look down in street because they have to exert some control. They have to demonstrate that they can actually tell them to come up to MPs what to do.
