The Sin of Watching Electronic Voice Phenomena

As a Catholic, is it a sin to watch these shows for entertainment? And there's a little bit more I would never even think of doing it myself or even put any stock in what they do. The conventional explanation for electronic voice phenomena is apophania. Apophania is the tendency of humans to find patterns in information where there's really not a pattern there. It may be like white noise that they're getting from a radio or something and they put it through this processing.
