The final stage of collectivization here would result in communes that were composed of over 5,000 households. More than 20 times larger than any of the previous cooperatives. These communes were supposed to be self sufficient in basically everything. It was a true utopia where agriculture, industry, government, education, health care, all of it was united into one big giant cooperative.
