The Problem With Compatibility
I think the problem here is if you're not offering a reductive analysis, it seems open to a libertarian or a skeptic to say, oh, yeah, and there's this other thing that characterizes free will. So I think it doesn't give you a strong of an argument for compatibleism. Another way of being maybe very ontologically liberal about one's compatibleism is to be an agent causalist. And so we have some kind of reason to think that these things are compatible.
