Turkey's Foreign Policy - Part One

Turkey is a country that has historical relationships with lots of diferent places around the world, most notably within the peoples of the middle east. The creation of turkey as a kind of export hub and en a sight of attracting foreign direct investment governs Turkey's foreign policy. This change is in the aftermath of, not only the arab spring, but more specifically, in the after-effects of the war in syria. And so turkey is kind of forced to play a role in this crisis that is beyond simply the issue of soft power.
