The Death of Manuela Science in Bogota

Manuela science led a rearguard action against the incoming government. The liberal government that had taken over after the constitutional convention was proving itself to be as inept as they were corrupt. A faction emerged that combined the professional military with the power and wealth of the catholic church. And it openly pined for the return of believar, who, though exhausting and not without flaws, was at least a man who provided stability.
