Loneliness Is a National Problem
There's talk of an epidemic of loneliness, and the figures aren't as high as commonly convey. Prolonged and chronic loneliness is a national problem. Loneliness is one of the most noxious psychological state to be in. Research suggests that lacking social connection is as bad for us as smoking a pack of cigarettes.
