Easter is such a triumphant time in the church's life. I think we also have to remember that there aregoing to be people sitting in the pews who are sceptical, who don't really know quite what to do with it. And i appreciate so much that the bible doesn't leave those kinds of people out. When mary was faithless, jesus was faithful and accommodated to her by calling her name. Then thomas just needs more. Hearing the voice and seeing the wounds were not enough. He said, i want to put my finger in there. So,jesus, what does he do? Mis is a beautiful picture of jesus accommodating
