The Informational Density of Cohorts
A lot of the recommendation engines from the 2000s and 2010s do a really good job of putting people into cohorts. And if you've ever kind of like looked at these cohorts, which you'll realize is that, oh, we're actually not that dissimilar. So I think in terms of like the informational density of like a useful tool, I wrote this essay recently called the stochastic parrot docs.
