The Cap Theorem
The cap theorem says that you can't have consistency, availability or partition tolerance all at the same time. But people read this as like it's a theory, w it's in the name,. It's not a physical ation on how data can replicate. So we will never give up consistency. Worse comes to worse, inconsistency will be maintained while availability is sacrificed. The algarithms are fault tolerant. They can rout to other nodes and that kind of thing. And when you have the client routing to the closest nodes in regions all the time, and they're doing the same thing, you can actually dodge the typical network partitions o have in the modern hyberscale public cloud.
