Did You Just Make It Up?
Scientists have been tracking down evidence from earth and space to reconstruct that fateful moment from 66 million years ago. Jahn gulick is one of them. He studies the rocks themselves, which actually tell us more about dinosaurs fate than fossils. Scientists found a giant sunken circle off the coast of mexico's yucatan peninsula. They went there to try and answer these questions, what does this crater look like? What is processes that made the crater? And why would an impact in the yucatan Peninsula cause the extinction of the dinosaurs and 75 % of life on earth? In other words, did this impact crater have what it takes to cause a mass extinction?
