The structural pieces of the constitution really, to say they get short shrift is a vast understatement. They're just not discussed. We've seen a dumbing down of our civics lessons,. In many cases, the removal of civics as a required, expected course in high school and in college. And doesn't present a significant threat when people aren't taught about our history and our tradition.
