Andodgous Retroviruses
We see vestigial telemers. Telemers are repeating sequences on the end of chromosomes that a keep them from unravelling effectively. And we find that there are remnants of these inside chromosome too, as though these twochromosomes were fused in some sort of ancestral human. So here we have evidence that the genomes are very similar, andnd one has progressed from the other. There is about 200 copies of this viral code in the human genum that have over years become spread throughout the population. Everyone has copies of this virus in their dna, about 200 copies, to be exact. Between humans and chimps, each of these 200 retro viruses happen at the same position
