The Problem With Plastic

In Australia, we use over 3.5 million tons of plastic every year. A straw won't break down for 200 years and a water bottle can last 400 years. Almost every piece of plastic that hasn't been burned is still here on earth. We used to be taught about the three Rs - reduce, reuse, recycle. But unfortunately, not so plastic was made to be single use.
