The Importance of Blood Work in SJSTEN
In these patients, you're looking at a very slow prolonged taper. The one thing to remember about dress or dish is that it's often very steroid responsive. So there's this heightened sort of T cell reactivity and sensitization that smolders and persists. And so if you get greedy with your steroid taper and you try to taper it off too quickly, they often will rebound not only in the skin, but also with their hepatitis and renal disease.
