The Importance of Communication

Megan shared with Andrew that she didn't want to be at the retreat because of everything going on in her life. She started bawling and said, this is the last place I want to be right now. This was a moment when Andrew realized he had been making up an entire story about what was going on for himself. He says it fundamentally transformed so much of his work as a speaker and writer. The four pillars of authenticity enable us to come back to our internal motivation: we can detach from the perceptions, outcomes, results that trigger anxiety.
