Is There a Safe Injection Center in New York?

I wouldn't say this really vexes me particularly. I mean, i guess it's an extension of the needle exchange programmes. The idea that you could have safe injection of heroine is just like, an absurdity. It can take hundreds of interactions to get a homeless person to finally accept services. Government should lavishly fund social services and then try to make them as available as possible for people to accept.
