Is Rapamycin a Good Inhibitor of mTOR?
The idea that inhibition of mTOR complex two is bad in the context of aging, right? Other than the fact that rapamycin is certainly a specific inhibitor of m TOR complex one, at least biochemically. So that's really where this model came from. And it's just sort of been propagated without really being tested in any real detail,. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying that it's not the data in support of it aren't as strong as it gets presented sometimes.
