There aren't camps there. There are different ways of coming up with the requirements that biology has. Formation is obviously one of the requirements. But it's not really that i'm saying that life is about metabolism. Obviously, it needs jeans and information. And if you have some kind of proto metabolism, and jeanes are introduced into that, what do they do? They speed up the proto metabolism. They make it better than it was before. Nick Lane received his PhD from the Royal Free Hospital Medical School. He is currently a professor of Evolutionary Biochemistry at University College London. He was a founding member of the UCL Consortium for Mitochondrial Research, and is Co-Director of the UCL Centre for Life’s Origin and Evolution.
