A mistake that a lot of my students make and I've seen this in Spanish speaking and Portuguese speakers as well, is when people say the other day. In English, the other day is always the past. It's not specific, it's just a general amount of time. Could be two days, could be a week. But it has a sense of like in the recent past. So for example, tomorrow, we all know what tomorrow means, right? Yesterday. Yeah. What about two days ago? What do we call that? It was two days ago... The day before yesterday.
