The Lost Vintage by Anne Ma is about a young woman named Kate who returns to her family's vineyard estate in burgundy. She has failed her master of wine examination twice and she cannot fail it a third time or she will be out. In the process of helping her family clear out some old things she stumbles across a diary and also a whole bunch of really good, really treasured, really expensive wine made on the family vineyard many years ago. The diaries from her great aunt who was a teen during World War II, but it's not clear where her loyalties lay back then, or what happened.
