Speech language mythologist and stella's mam, christina hunger. Speech pathology is such a rich, versatile field. We can work with anyone from a new born all the way through the gereetric population. There are speech pythologists who work in nursing homes or in spitals with an people who have had strokes or who have dementia,. All timers parkinsons. So it's a very, very wide field, but with the underlying themes of helping people communicate better. And i'm not even completely sure what the field encompasss, which is why i maxesite at fact.

Talking dogs. Rolled Rs. That dangly thing in the back of your throat. Speech impediments. Alternative forms of communication. And talking cats. World famous speech pathologist by day, dog whisperer also by day, Christina Hunger MA, CCC-SLP joins us to talk about what those letters after her name mean, helping people literally find their voice, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), different types of language and communication, and how she applied the same principles to gift her dog with the ability to emotionally manipulate her.
