Toy Story: A Lifelong Pixar Fan

Pixar's deal with Disney meant it only received a small percentage of the profits between 10 and 15% of the profits. Some folks over at Pixar felt that this was kind of unfair. A week after Toy Story came out, Steve Jobs made the big move and took Pixar public. It ended up being the biggest technology IPO in 1995 which was also a year that saw Netscape go public.
