The Immediate Context of the Old Testament

The church has always struggled in the past to say, well, how do I just bring the Old Testament over to us today? Because we don't live in that point of redemption. And so you do just to see a bit of application there, you do see an immediate context and an unfolding context. In principle, everything that they anticipated has come yet it's not fully here in its fullness. So even now, the new creation is here in Christ, he's the new creation. If our present time is the New Heavens and New Earth, then it's not much of a New Heavens or New Earth, is it? But we can gain hope by realizing what God promises
