You've argued that the contemporary right cannot plausibly be described as fascist because of the absence of those conditions. So if we start with the emergence of fascism and Nazism in the early 20th century, can you say a bit about why those three conditions are so important? And obviously there's a question about the conflation of fascism with the German case, but perhaps we can talk about that separately.
