The Limitations of Sunak's Campaign
The received wisdom in Westminster is that the Tories will run a campaign with sort of Sunak as front and centre because he's more popular than the party brand. But we don't know how good a campaigner he is anyway. His style of premiership has been interesting recently, hasn't it? Because he seems to have done quite a lot of gone to meet Macron,. The deals with the EU over the Northern Ireland Protocol. It's often his ministers that are out. He doesn't connect as naturally with voters as you would hope. And when people are looking for a leader, they're looking for someone who they regard as strong, whatever that means.
