The Problems With a Different Definition of the Word Supposed
Many people think that ought, both in the theontic and in the epistemic interpretation, has something to do with probability. There is actually a very large array of arguments that try to show that they're different. In fact, not only are there distinct meanings, but there are actually word with different grammatical categories. We also do not need to be necessarily committed to the thesis that the unitary analysis of ought is going to be the crassar analysis we described earlier this week.
