The Importance of Having Friends Outside of Evangelicalism
I think of my book as a coming of age story with evangelicalism being just thrown into the mix and how that affects like a young person. I started to be interested in people who weren't so sure about things like when I was 18 19 and I met Kate the fact that she was so sure was really attractive to me because I needed that but then all of a sudden when I was 23 24 it wasn't there anymore. In some ways maybe it was also like the development of my own brain like oh yeah you know somebody who's like growing up.
