The Importance of Courage
Tortell is full of stories about heroism and courage but very beowulfian i mean you kind of get that sense that that's where his inspiration is coming from. He literally says we're burying bertnoff not bayowulf yeah right he says let's get the body back to the abbey so we can bury him so that he can have some hope for salvation. There's a lot of glory here too towards talking not just about courage but about glory we we see that several times.
