The Evolution of the Yanomami Microbiome

One of the challenges is you have to understand that these microbes have co-evolved with the Yanomami in their natural landscape. Maybe these microbes don't belong in someone in New York City but who knows maybe they can and I think it's something worth investigating. The Yanomami do not experience chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases that Western societies do. And we know that the perturbations of let's say for example they got microbiome is linked to the massive rise in chronic inflammatory andautoimmune disorders. If it's linked and the YanomAMI have let's say a wild intact gut microbiome then I think it'm something worth investigating and I Think it's something that we can learn from
