Using the Mindset in the Classroom to Help Kids With Down Syndrome
I used to have a dance class for children with diagnoses and a lot of them had brain injuries. So kids that wanted a peer group, but couldn't progress, progress year after year with the other students based on either their physical or mental challenges. And we found that placing kids in a circle in a specific way that some of the children with down syndrome would do really well with the kids with autism. But there's also the other side of let's not burden the kids to take care. It's a real, it's a conundrum. I'm figuring it all out, right? And it's complicated.
