I get the impression there are artists, and many novelists that i've talked to, for instance, who tell me they don't think about the reader when they're right. An artist, a is capable of depicting an idea and ways that is so clear that a beholder who doesn't know the artist at all will be able to get a meaningful response to the work of art. And we want to see how a person like you, when the brain is being imaged, responds to work of art from the same artist. When he work is figurative, transitional or abstract.
