Are You Trying to Exasperate That Fear?

i want to not overstate the detrimental effects of a lack of faith or spirituality, because even in eras that ostensibly head those a high prevalence of such beliefs, the state was very overbearing and tyrannical. But it does seem like today, you know, this fear that we're talking about, it's like a basically, what, where does that fear come from? Why does it manifest or fester? And i do think it seems to me that fairly rational, that if you want to exasperate that fear, then the materialist, reductionist world view is a pretty good way to do it.
