Is It Compiled on to a Bit Code?

K is written in c, very non n doe, like you say, its interpreted. But does it does it compile the language to a bite code that then gets red through some bite code interpreter or. I do not know, but i don't think tha that tet otas holikes me by cit on tis like that. P y c files that get left behind are thei compile.
