The Enembodied Experience of Pain

The embodied experience of pain was a great lesson for me about how to use a hammer. You learn these things through your body and that's the way wisdom works so often as we encounter pain. I think materialism can again constrict us and taking our gaze, you know, downward. So the reductive nature stops perspective.
