nebalio was a song that i composed in part with this incredible malian singer called uma sangare. She's an incredibly important musician to to african music, reallyn and thet of intensity behind the notes that she sings is sort of unlike anybody i've ever heard. And it was a real pipe dream for me to have umu on a song. We spent probably in total, about ten hours just kind of throwing paint together.
