When we talk about energy, what do we really mean? Physiologically, what is energy? Well, everything that you perceive about energy is nothing more than oxygen in your blood. The reason why people that are the most exhausted sleep the worst is because these are both related to low levels of blood oxygen. And then if we have proteins and carbohydrates for two and we have our carbohydrates later in the afternoon, this is not only better for weight loss, it is substantially better from energy Because you're not diverting oxygen and blood to the gut.
