Many of Cindy's cases involve something called the telemarketing sales rule. The TSR governs what businesses can and can't do when they call consumers. Calls late at night for example or automated robo calls, those are usually illegal. It's illegal for someone to ask you for cash transfer on the phone like one of those cash app things or a wire transfer. You should just hang up because they're breaking the law, right?
