Flights Cannot Be Affected by Ground Staff

Ground staff is an important word to remember when you're talking about flying. They are the people who work on the ground, doing things like checking your ticket or a walking down the cue the line of people to make sure everything's all right. And we're experiencing lots of problems, at the time of recording this b podcast in august 20 22, with some air lines not having enough ground staff to attend to all the flights that are taking off and landing. Now we're told it's because of covid perhaps but i'd be interested to hear from anybody who works for a major airline company.
