Radiation Therapy for Prostate Cancer

Radiation therapy is very commonly used to treat prostate cancer. Success rates are around 90% or higher when its used early on. It most often uses x rays, but protons or other types of energy can also be used. So it's really not a question of which therapy is better, but which therapy is the most tailored and pin pointed radiation for a patient's specific disease.
